Description

The spread of computers in the modern workplace has unlocked our ability to operate efficiently and problem-solve quickly, even for lay people who are not able to code. In any office, computer literacy is a fundamental skill. Without reasonable proficiency in word processing and internet use, individuals are rendered unable to accomplish the most basic of tasks. This blended qualification equips learners with a broad range of these crucial skills and gives them the tools with which to operate effectively in a professional environment.

Workplace Learning

Learners are attached but not limited to the following organizations Clinics, Rehabilitation centres, Testing and Counseling centres, cancer foundation, Hospices, Mental health centres, Old age homes, Local municipalities, Health research centres, Primary and Secondary schools, NGOs etc.

Entry Requirement

Learners who want to register for this qualification must have the following;

  • Grade 12 / Matric

  • Child and Youth Care Work Level 4 Certificate

  • Any qualification equivalent to the above

Assessments

This course accredited by the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority. (MICTSETA) and has a duration of 1 Year (12 Months).

Certification

On successful completion of this course, the learner will be issued with a competence certificate by the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority. (MICTSETA)

Accreditation and Duration

This qualification requires a Portfolio of Evidence, for this reason, learners will be formatively and summatively assessed throughout the stud period and evidence of assessment will be collected for each assessment.

A final examination will be conducted to determine the competence levels of the learner
