Procedure for enrolment:

  1. 1. The potential student, guardian and/or sponsor is required to complete the application form in full.
  2. 2. Upon receipt of application, a student advisor will be in contact with the candidate to discuss the outcome of the application and way forward.
  3. 3. Should the candidate like to conclude their registration, an invoice with banking details as well as a list with required documentation will be sent to the candidate.
  4. 4. To secure enrolment slots, payment is required to be paid within 48 hours after receipt of invoice.
  5. 5. Once candidate is accepted, all documentation required is received and payments processed, the candidate’s enrolment journey can be started.
  6. 6. Please note: Fredstone does not qualify for NSFAS Bursary Funds as we are a Private Higher Education institute.

All payment terms excluding full upfront payment are subject to finance approval and completeness of documents
submitted. Purchase orders are only applicable to students who are sponsored by a business.
Foreign students are required to pay 50% fees upfront

Applications & admission requirements

Early application for admission to all programmes is advised. For post-matric programmes applicants must have passed Grade 9/12 / N3 / Level 4 or its equivalent. Use November Grade 11 or September Grade 12 results to apply. For admission to the pre-matric programmes, National Certificate (Vocational) Level 2 – 4, a Grade 9 certificate is applicable. Students will have to write an entrance test.

Full time lectures are offered from approximately 08:00 – 16:00 (Monday – Friday). Part-time classes are offered on Saturdays between 8:30 – 13:00 (Saturday).

General Information

Accommodation will be arranged on request. Classes are offered in English. Student centres, restaurants, internet facilities,social activities, student councils and sport facilities are available to full-time – and part-time students. Career guidance and aptitude tests are available on request.
